2. Freedom

What is freedom? Is it when you are bound to no one; or is it when the only voice you want to hear is your heart's. Is it when you follow your dreams, having no responsibilities or is it when you are tied up altogether? Illusions are what we make for ourselves. Sometimes, just to feel safe; feel better. Similar illusion is of freedom that sometimes we redefine as per our needs at that point of time. Was this supposed to be that complicated an emotion for us to thrive upon? When you start aligning your needs and consider its fulfilment as freedom, you already are living in an illusion. This does not state or prove that your achievements cannot give you a sense of freedom. But what sense would that be?

There are many physical laws written, to convey the basic nature of freedom that you are given - May it be speech, living, or state. I consider these as rather material and useless unless one is free of his own mind. You might have heard that true happiness comes from within. This statement stands true for all emotional complications in our lives.

Freedom is relative; just like other emotions - including love and hate. But when you wish to define your bounds, or how free your will is, your definition would be relative to your then frame of mind; when in reality, you want to be bound. You always wanted to have responsibilities, have relationships, have family and friends, have strings attached, not because it would be better to have someone but because you wanted to share your freedom, your bounds, yourself. Believe it or not, you already know that without these constraints, there wouldn't have been any freedom. True freedom; where you are free of your emotions and responsibilities when you share it with what holds you together - people. This is how constraints make us happier.

Cheers to that dependence. Cheers to that independence. Freedom.

8. Burning in the Sun

Have you ever experienced a sun flare? How the flames rise up in a tempest of eruptions together at a single deciduous light, always amused me. When you want to feel nothing and understand everything, to stay sane and human, it is conjugal to being burnt into the sun but not melting. Dreary yet tranquil. Deep down you do feel trapped sometimes. You wish for something new and exciting which will throb your heartbeats, and lead you to a more cynical memorabilia. You drain your sanity to ensure your roots in this cynical society.  Humans are prone to be ultimately self-destructive. It is in our nature. We are susceptible to being ignorant and credulous. It was never the ideal way and also, we found it to be unrealistic to fathom. Every thing, every human notion is so self-explanatory when you realize what that person is going through. You have to just stop thinking from a single frame of mind and start thinking otherwise. Each and every person has the capability to understand. Ignorance is quite the opposite. In times of distress or pain, you look for means to resolve the emotional conflicts inside you even if that something is unnatural, or uncanny. I am no different.
